This is where it all starts! Keeping accurate records of sales and expenditure is key to running a sound business. There are several good software packages on the market eg Xero, Quickbooks, Sage etc that all help you keep your accounts up together. Most of these will also automatically import your business bank account the software package. We can provide a booking keeping service whereby we will do all this for you, allowing you to concentrate on your business.
VAT
If you’re VAT registered (currently any business turning over more than £90,000 per rolling year) you will need to complete a VAT return every quarter and pay any VAT owed to HMRC. We invariably prepare VAT returns for most of our clients.
Company Accounts
Limited companies have to prepare annual accounts for HMRC and Companies House, often our sole trader clients choose to have accounts prepared each year so they can track their progress.
